Burn is not the best Coen comedy, it has it's moments, but really it's a tale about narcissism and narcissists - and the lack of intelligence that gets you there.
The plot is fun in a French farce sort of way and the characters are flawed enough to be fun too; but it's the dark side of human nature, the underbelly, those little vanities that we all contain that pushes this forward.
For my money it was OK, didn't love it all, didn't hate it all, it's watchable - found the use of the F-word a little deadening after a while, Malkovitch deserves better; but all in all pretty much what you'd expect from a Coen project.
Passable, but not great...
